Gin Gin Remmington fabulously rules New York City with a glittering heart of gold and a free spirit. In this wacky romantic comedy, the innocent act of wedding crashing transforms into a life-changing big gay adventure when drag diva Gin Gin meets the very handsome, very wealthy, very famous society stud, Theodore Lodge III in the Waldorf-Astoria ballroom.
After countless champagne cocktails, Teddy admits how miserably trapped he is by his controlling blue-blood family. Gin Gin proposes an intriguing escape plan. From there they embark on a ten-hour escapade revealing K.K.’s underground, downtown, Technicolor world of New York City nightlife.
The next morning, Teddy awakes with not only a raging hangover, but also a wife. He learns that his blushing bride is intriguing in more ways than one, for “she” is sometimes a “he”!
And so begins this quick-witted fairy tale with a twist… Yes, the princess finally meets her uptown Park Avenue prince, but in this tale, the trouble is, it’s the prince who is locked up in the tower… and there is only one queen with heels high enough to reach him.
More Than A Woman provides a vicarious glimpse
into the reality, hilarity and insanity of New York City’s drag world.
